The Mining Engineering Section provides professional training of high technical demand in mining engineering and geological engineering, according to international quality standards, the needs of society and industry, and technological advances in the field. Our fundamental duty is to develop and strengthen knowledge, skills and competencies for successful professional practice in mining-related industries or in technological research work, with emphasis on environmental care, occupational safety and social responsibility.
