
The Electricity and Electronics section is an academic community, made up of professors, administrators and students of the career, dedicated to the training of professionals, the promotion of scientific research and the development and innovation of equipment in the fields of electricity and electronics. It also promotes multidisciplinary work within the classrooms as well as in the projects it develops. It is formed by the areas of Circuits and Electronic Systems; Robotics, Control and Automation; Electricity; and Bioengineering. It has more than fifteen laboratories that support the training of electronic engineering, mechanical engineering, mechatronics engineering, industrial engineering, computer engineering and telecommunications engineering. Our research groups host professionals from different fields of application.
We are a proactive community of teachers committed to the technological development of the country and dedicated with excellence to training, research, services to third parties and social projection, in the fields of electricity and electronics, oriented to the mastery of technology related to the areas of electronic circuits, communications, control and automation, bioengineering, electrical energy and others derived from those.
In accordance with the precepts of our University, to be present, from training and research, in the areas of society, where the application of electricity and electronics contribute to a better quality of life.
