The Mechanical Engineering Section is an academic community that trains professionals trained in the design, manufacture, production, maintenance, control and management of industrial machinery and equipment. Among its areas are: Materials, Production, Energy, Design and Automation.

Mission

Mechanical Engineering of the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú is an academic community responsible for the integral formation of highly competitive professionals trained for continuous study, committed to the development of the country, aware of the role of their profession, consistent with the values that inspire the university. In Mechanical Engineering, knowledge is generated, applied and disseminated with a permanent updating of its resources that contribute to the progress and welfare of society, and to the improvement of its quality of life.

Vision

To lead the mechanical engineering education in the country and to be recognized nationally and internationally as a source of opinion on topics of interest.
