LinkING 2024 demonstrated that innovation is built with joint effort. Professionals and companies came together to share ideas and build an ever stronger technology and innovation ecosystem in Peru.
The LinkING event was held with great success yesterday at Open PUCP, bringing together leading professionals and enthusiasts of technology and innovation. In an environment of collaboration and learning, with more than 1700 participants who were interested in the research projects of teachers and graduates.
From the very beginning, the enthusiasm and commitment was palpable. Each of the guest speakers demonstrated in their talks that passion for innovation and teamwork can make a real difference.
During the event, research talks and panel discussions were held in fields such as Biomedical with the participation of our outstanding research professors, Fanny Casado, Fernando Zvietcovich and Stefano Romero, digital transformation, with presentations by companies from different sectors such as WOW Peru and Agrícola Cerro Prieto who shared their experiences and vision for the different industries in the country.
We were also accompanied by Dr. Eduardo Ísmodes Cascón, Vice Rector of Research PUCP who presented the PUCP Innovation System with construction topics and much more.
LinkING 2024 was the framework in which the 10th anniversary of the Geological Engineering career was celebrated with exceptional presentations by Silvia Rosas, Director of the Career, Roque Benavides CEO of Minas Buenaventura, Victor Gobitz, President of Antamina, Rafael Aguilar, Head of the Academic Department of Engineering, Lluís Fontboté, distinguished international geologist, among other guests. This space offered attendees a window into the future of sustainable mining in our country.
