Our University has renewed its educational cooperation agreement with the company PE Limited (Petex), thanks to the initiative of our professor Dr. Willem Viveen, professor of Geological Engineering.
PE Limited has donated ten educational licenses of MOVE Suite software, specialized in the analysis and modeling of structural geological processes. The donation, worth £2,506,898.78, will enable PUCP to implement this cutting-edge tool in various undergraduate and postgraduate courses, promoting the use and understanding of advanced technologies in the field of geological modeling.
With this incorporation, PUCP's Geological Engineering program is positioned as the first academic program in a higher education institution at the national level to offer this sophisticated software in its curriculum.
