Mineralogy Laboratory 1

Contacto:

626-2000 Annexes 5005, 5000

This laboratory has a jaw crusher, disc crusher, roller crusher, vibrating screen, bar and ball mills, as well as granulometric classifiers in the mineral preparation area. In the mineral concentration area, there are magnetic separators, gravity tables, jigs, Reichert spiral, centrifugal concentrators (Knelson, Falcon), flotation cells, filter presses and auxiliary equipment. There is also a pilot plant with a capacity of 1 ton/day, ideal for grinding-flotation simulations.

The services provided are determination of the Specific Weight of Ores and Concentrates, dry, wet and sedimentation granulometric analysis, determination of bulk density, determination of Work Index, crushing of ore samples, maximum 20 Kg (mesh from 2" to 10 mesh (one mesh) and mesh from 10 mesh to 100 mesh (one mesh)).

It also offers services in pulverized from 65 mesh to 200 mesh (max 1 kg), sample preparation for Chemical Laboratory (pulverized), dry and wet magnetic concentration, gravimetric concentration in tables, Jigs, spiral, feasibility test in gravimetric concentration, in centrifugal concentrators (Knelson or Falcon), determining the working pressure or saturation, mineral flotation and Comminution simulation - Flotation in pilot plant of 1 ton/day.
